Spring is in full bloom, and we’re celebrating the season with Sisters in Bloom, a vibrant Sister Spokesman event designed to inspire creativity, connection, and community. Join us on Saturday, April 5, from Noon to 3 PM at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) in the Wells Fargo Room for an afternoon that celebrates floral artistry and sisterhood.

We’re excited to welcome Jennifer Bevan, Bachman’s lead floral design facilitator, who will take us on a journey through the beauty and intricacy of floral arrangements. Jennifer will lead a live floral design demonstration, showcasing how to transform nature’s blooms into stunning pieces of art. Whether you’re a flower enthusiast or new to the world of floral design, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

But that’s just the beginning—Sisters in Bloom is all about bringing people together. Enjoy fun games, meet new friends, and connect with a vibrant community. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win FREE tickets to the highly anticipated Giants exhibit at MIA, presented by Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys! This exhibit highlights the powerful contributions of African American artists and promises to be a truly moving experience.

Jennifer Bevan -Bachman's

Jennifer Bevan, a San Francisco native, grew up in a flower shop, learning every aspect of floral design. After college, she became a full-time designer and has specialized in weddings and events for the past eight years. A multiple award-winner, including The Knot’s “Best of Weddings,” her work has been featured in The Knot and Minnesota Bride. She values personal connections with couples, ensuring their vision comes to life, and continually hones her craft through trend-focused design education.
